One of the activities of TALIA project is related to the develpment of a coherent vision for the MED space, based on specific examples of creative and social innovation as evidenced by previous and current projects and pilots.
This is the second edition of a document whose goal is to set forth and develop a common vision to be shared by the projects in the Social&Creative Community in the Interreg-MED programme. It builds on the first edition, which explained the bottom-up genesis of the initial models based on one originally developed in the MED CAP CreativeMED project, which in turn was a capitalisation initiative aggregating and synthesizing the results of five previous projects, all dealing with innovation. While the CreativeMED model is therefore a deductive act of synthesis, its further development as the TALIA model occurs through validation as an operational framework for the SCI community.
The first edition included a preliminary mapping of the vision elements onto the 6 projects in the Social&Creative Community approved in the MED Programme’s first call, together with a framework for validation of the vision statement. This second edition describes how the original Vision statement and model has developed through different strands of the TALIA project and the insights gained in the process.
This document is issued in parallel with TALIA Policy Brief n. 9, which provides a synthetic presentation of the Vision statement and model. This document develops the state of the art of our understanding of each and describes the process of how we have interacted with the Modular Projects.
