On June 28, 2017 the Social&Creative project organized an international seminar in Barcelona at MEDIATIC building on “Coworking evidence in the cultural and creative industry of the Mediterranean”.
The seminar took place in the framework of the CoworkMED meeting and the COWOCAT Coworking Day (June 29, 2017) and involved the modular projects of the Social&Creative thematic community, associated partners and key stakeholders in the coworking domain.
After the presentation of Social&Creative project and vision, a roundtable on coworking as an emergent model of work was held with stakeholders coming from Spain, France and Italy: Daphné Charveriat (SMACK coworking, Marseille – France), Salvatore Modeo (Molo 12, Lecce – Italy), Alejandro Alatzas (Impact Hub, Madrid – Spain) presented their experiences of managing coworking spaces.
In the end, the participants were involved in an open discussion aimed at evaluating the growing success of the phenomenon, compare business models associated with coworking and identifying suitable public supply or demand side measures.
The day after, all Social&Creative partners took part to the Coworking Day organized by COWOCAT, where the coworking ecosystem of Catalonia has been presented.
