Released the new policy brief of the Social&Creative Community. Check it out!

How can we harness the momentum for change brought on by the pandemic to update (innovate and improve) culture the day after? And above all, how can professionals in the creative field reach their increasingly more international audiences? These are the questions underlying this new policy brief, the 16th of the series released by the Social&Creative Community.

The pandemic has touched each of the dimensions (economic, symbolic, identity and external projection) that make up the cultural capital of a community.

This Policy Brief outlines main issues affecting the world of culture, even more so in this historical moment, and provides policy recommendations to foster the internationalization of the sector, which include on the one hand long-term strategic actions for the positioning of the image of a Country through its cultural expressions and, on the other, specific export policies.

Further policy suggestions were formulated using the Internationalization Readiness webtool developed by Chebec, one of the 11 modular projects of the Community, which allows cultural and creative organizations to assess their strengths and weaknesses before starting the process of internationalization.

Read the policy brief no. 16 "Internationalization of culture during Covid-19 crisis" [here].

The complete series of the Social&Creative Community policy briefs is available [here].
