The 24 and 25 November on Zoom do not miss the Social&Creative Innovation Camp #2!
This is the second of 3 virtual events addressing specific themes on which the Community of creatives and social innovators of the Mediterranean is working: open innovation for society (27 May 2021), industrial transformation (24-25 November 2021) and sustainable development (March 2022).
The Camp is open to practitioners, policymakers, field experts, stakeholders, civil servants, SMEs and start-ups, PanoraMED representatives, Social&Creative partners and associates, and S&C modular projects. It is composed of two different moments.
The morning conference is scheduled on 24th November, 10 am-1 pm CET with no limits for participants. It will be in English, with simultaneous translation into Italian.
Thanks to the involvement of leading experts and the sharing of the experiences of successful cases of industrial transformation and CCIs we will try to identify the most significant challenges that cultural and creative industries must face and to understand how to connect their potential to old and new markets.
The Focus and Working groups online session is split into two half-day workshops that are linked (24th November, 2.30 – 5.30 pm CET; 25th November, 10 am – 1 pm CET). They are conceived as dynamic and participatory workshops where we want to understand the transferability potential for methodologies, tools and services designed and developed in past modular projects for a greater impact and the feasibility to be adapted and implemented in other places.
Participants will be required to attend both half-day workshops and to have an easy and short activity to prepare beforehand the 4 parallel sessions planned:
- Internationalisation strategies for accessing new SI & CCIs markets (Chebec project) - Prototyping an innovative support path for CCIs organizations to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and the chances to internationalize: this was the ultimate aim of Chebec. The programme - consisting of training, consultancy services, networking events, voucher schemes and tailor made web tools - was conceived to be easily transferable to other territories willing to better support their cultural and creative ecosystem. This session will explore how such a programme can be replicated in other regions, the players that could be involved and the right instruments to put into place.
- Upskilling and reskilling for new job opportunities in social and creative sectors in a changing labour market (+Resilient project) - What are the skills (new and old) required to succeed in key sectors of social innovation? How do key actors in the labour market and training/education address emerging needs? In this session the + Resilient partners will share the tools used in two different areas (Veneto and Barcelona) to deal with the changing dynamics of jobs in the post-Covid scenarios. We’ll also share some tips and examples of the participatory approach used in the project to design new strategies for training and actions for social innovators and professionals in the care sectors.
- Innovative clustering for inter-sectoral dynamisation of the SI & CCIs sectors (Smath project) - Addressing the specific needs of the creative industries and the cultural stakeholders, the Smath project worked on generating “Smart Atmospheres” to foster and enhance these specific ecosystems and support their emerging projects. 8 local Creative Nests have been created in the Mediterranean area to support initiatives in various CCI fields of work. This innovative form of clustering constitutes an area of encounter and co-construction for entrepreneurs and artists. In this session, participants will be addressed with specific info and with a set of concrete tools on how to set up new models of clusters, and how a Smart Atmosphere can help the development of creativity in SMEs. Moreover they will have the opportunity to understand how to replicate some collaborative and cooperative projects in their area.
- Creativity-based Innovation driving Industrial Transformation (CreativeWear project) - This session will look at how Creative Hubs as developed in the CreativeWear project can promote interaction between artists, creatives and the textile and clothing industry to explore broader possibilities for sustainable designs, materials, products and processes. Participants will learn how the TCBL network is connecting different types of innovation labs with T&C businesses across Europe, and more in detail how the CreativeWear Model can help to partner with one of the existing Hubs to set up a new Hub locally in their own region.
