TALIA, MED Horizontal project was part of the panel of the event “Developmental trajectories for the Mediterranean: scenarios and developments for basin cooperation”, organized on May 22 in Catania (Italy) by the Italian Agency for territorial cohesion, in association with the Department for Cohesion Policies, the Emilia-Romagna Region and ERVET.

This is a day of debate at European level on the topic of the Mediterranean basin and maritime cooperation, thus proceeding the path launched during the European Cooperation Day, last 21 September 2017. The aim of this event was to collect suggestions and reflections on the topic, with particular attention to the obstacles and possible solutions to improve maritime cooperation in Europe.

Representatives of the Interreg MED programme, the European Commission, EU member countries, pre-accession countries and international organisations will be delivering their views.

Regione Puglia (TALIA lead partner) and InnovaPuglia were invited speakers to this debate between institutions and territories to outline strategies and perspectives for the post 2020. In particular, TALIA contribution was envisaged in “The development of qualified projects as a tool for strengthening policies” session, moderated by Patrizia Busolini (MED Technical Secretariat).
