    The policy briefs released by the Community were presented by ENoLL

    ENoLL has joined the 5th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, aimed at promoting economic and social prosperity and growth in the region by improving its attractiveness, competitiveness and connectivity. The virtual forum under the slogan “Strengthening the resilience of the Adriatic and Ionian Region through cooperation” took place on 28 - 29 January 2021. It was jointly organized by the Republic of Serbia, the European Commission and with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point.

    ENoLL Vice-Chair Wim de Kinderen (Brainport Eindhoven) joined the panel discussion on “Imagining post-COVID EUSAIR –How to cooperate in the new reality? The twin digital and green transition as a regional response to the Covid-19 crisis”. De Kinderen introduced the Living Lab methodology to the audience and demonstrated how Living Labs can help create better solutions to existing challenges through citizen participation.

    To support De Kinderen’s presentation, ENoLL showcased additional reading material in the exhibition area and interacted with the participants of the forum during the two-day affair. Joining the diverse exhibitors panel, ENoLL showcased Policy Briefs developed within the scope of the Interreg MED Social & Creative project. The following Policy Briefs were presented:

    • Digitalisation & Living Labs: co-creating & deploying during the Covid-19 crisis, looking into the emerging opportunities through enhanced digitalization, but also examining the digital divide and impact on the cultural sector;
    • Culture and Creativity in the post-COVID19 world: reaching the SDGs, examining the effect of the Coronavirus crisis on the cultural and creative sectors and drawing links to the Agenda 2030 and the European Green Deal;
    • Models of financing the Cultural & Creative sectors during COVID crisis, exploring the issues of market fragmentation, insufficient access to financing and next EU budget.
