The Social&Creative community is taking part to the organization of the Interreg Med mid-term event “Made in MED” in Rome, planned on April 18-19, 2018.
The mid-term event is conceived as a factory where mediterranean people build values, communities, job opportunities: the main purpose of this event is to demonstrate how the Interreg MED Programme architecture has become a “living” integrated process with tangible results, where thematic communities speak in one voice.
The overall ambition is to deliver focused messages to policy level therefore influencing future perspectives and planning actions, both at transnational and national levels, beyond 2020. In order to reach this political objective, the Interreg MED thematic communities are called to highlight how the individual results of their projects can be “translated” into shared common messages and related added value, both for the population of local beneficiaries and projects as well as for policy makers at regional, national and transnational level.
Through the participation of all horizontal projects to the coordination meetings, The JS defined the three main topics of the “Made in MED” event: climate change, blue economy and inclusive growth.
The Social&Creative community, including all the modular projects, is actively contributing to the mid-term event, in particular to the inclusive growth session, by proposing high impact and interactive performances and providing for suggestions of possible speakers for the thematic sessions.
