The Social&Creative Community featured by TALIA project was one of the protagonists of the Made in MED in the Balkans, the capitalization day organized by the InterregMED Programme and focused on the IPA countries.
The event was organized in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and involved all the InterregMED projects (HPs and MPs) with an IPA partner in the consortium. It was structured around two main important moments: testimonials of partners involved in MED projects with a special mention for best solutions put in place and an exchange of views on real impact of projects in IPA territories.
The morning session was mainly devoted to the presentation of the main results achieved by the MED projects in IPA countries, case studies and best practices. A lot of Modular Projects were illustrated, including two MPs of the Social&Creative Community: MD.Net, focusing on the Mediterranean Diet, and Odeon, working on open and big data.
The afternoon session “The EU Territorial Cooperation and IPA dimension” envisaged two round tables: the first one dedicated to the future of European Territorial Cooperation in IPA countries; the second one focused on how to transfer results in IPA countries.
Goran Rodic from PREDA, as partner of TALIA project and IPA country (Bosnia and Herzevogina), presented our Community, the main results we are achieving and illustrated the impact of our MPs and Community on the IPA territories within this second round table. Mr Rodic explained that, despite the paltry budget addressed to IPA partners, they are working hard in order to transfer the project results at local level. EU funded projects are really important for IPA countries and all the speakers agreed on the possibility to increase the IPA countries involvement and budget on this important projects.
