On June 12, 2019 the Social&Creative Community will meet in Međugorje for the international seminar "Mediterranean Diet & Creative Industries - From UNESCO World Heritage for Immaterial Culture to an active and creative sustainable growth factor".
Creativity and social innovation are the enabling forces for prosperity and well-being in the MED space, in line with EU 2020 as well as the specific potentials of the Mediterranean itself. This in a context of territorial innovation where innovation is built on the territorial capital specific to a given place or the Mediterranean as a whole.
MD.Net is an integrated project of the Social&Creative Community that builds on the Mediterranean Diet – a UNESCO World Heritage for immaterial culture – to address the severe natural and demographic problems faced by Mediterranean rural regions.
TALIA project is facilitating and investigating the correlation among the UNESCO Food and Intangible heritage and the Social&Creative vision. To this end an TALIA international seminar "Mediterranean Diet & Creative Industries - From UNESCO World Heritage for Immaterial Culture to an active and creative sustainable growth factor" is planned on 12th June 2019 at Herceg Ethno Village in Međugorje (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The event is organized within the MD.Net partnership meeting and will involve all the interested Modular Projects of the Social&Creative Community, together with associated partners and key stakeholders in the thematic area.
